B‐SIDE BAND<br />
Alyana Powley<br />
The B Side Band were the house band for the night, opening the show with a dynamic set.<br />
A wide variety of performers played, and it was good to have strong female vocalists, notably<br />
Alayna Powley who has a fantasc voice, performing both solo and accompanied by her father,<br />
Rob Powley.<br />
Young Leigham Dender was accompanied by his parents. This young student of the drum kit<br />
showed neither nerves or apprehension, and displayed a high level of skill in his showcase<br />
number.<br />
Jamming with Mike Garner were B‐SIDE BAND'S Mike Kirk and bassist Chris Duff, along with<br />
club MC Warren Houston, covering three Muddy waters songs, previewing the Muddy Waters<br />
theme night planned for the March <strong>Club</strong> Night.<br />
Lindsay MacKenzie had his fine electric band belng out the<br />
grooves and is always a crowd pleaser.<br />
