<strong>Thahabi</strong> hosts a seminar at Shamiya Branch<br />
With our continuous efforts to maintain rapport with our <strong>Thahabi</strong> clients, <strong>Thahabi</strong> organized a special<br />
seminar at Shamiya Branch. The event started with a welcome note from Mr. Adel Al-Jenaee, Assistant GM<br />
and Head <strong>of</strong> <strong>Thahabi</strong> Divison, embracing NBK’s attentiveness to its <strong>Thahabi</strong> customers, sharing the latest<br />
<strong>of</strong>fers and benefits, and providing updates on NBK news and regional developments.<br />
The seminar show-cased <strong>Thahabi</strong>’s latest <strong>of</strong>fers from its partners, including: World MasterCard benefits<br />
including the exclusive Concierge services <strong>of</strong>fered by Dnata Travel Agency; Special discount <strong>of</strong>fers by Lexus;<br />

<strong>Thahabi</strong> rewards World MasterCard Users<br />
NBK rewarded two <strong>of</strong> its <strong>Thahabi</strong> customers, as an appreciation to their extensive <strong>Thahabi</strong> World MasterCard<br />
usage, with an invitation to attend the MasterCard fashion experience held in Beirut. The reward consisted <strong>of</strong><br />
a full sponsorship to their trip to Beirut including the air tickets, 5-star hotel accommodation, airport transfer<br />
by limousine, and a private car with VIP chauffer for the duration <strong>of</strong> the stay.<br />
The two day special event included exclusive invitations to a fashion show featuring the latest collection <strong>of</strong><br />

keep them updated on the latest developments in local and global financial markets, we have enabled<br />

Al Watani <strong>Bank</strong> <strong>of</strong> Egypt (AWB) launches <strong>Thahabi</strong> in Egypt<br />
Al Watani <strong>Bank</strong> has recently launched <strong>Thahabi</strong> in Egypt whereby this was the initial step in globalizing our<br />
<strong>Thahabi</strong> brand through our International branches hence providing our customers with specialized banking<br />
services, in addition to any emergency requirements during their travel abroad.<br />
<strong>Thahabi</strong> services are currently provided at Mohandiseen Branch in Cairo, and more branches will follow<br />
soon. <strong>Customers</strong> can now open <strong>Thahabi</strong> accounts by transferring a salary to AWB <strong>of</strong> EGP15000 or more<br />
or placing a deposit <strong>of</strong> EGP500,000 or more in any interest or non-interest bearing accounts to enjoy the<br />
banking privileges <strong>of</strong> AWB – <strong>Thahabi</strong>.<br />
Al Watani <strong>Bank</strong> <strong>of</strong> Egypt issues Certificates <strong>of</strong> Deposits in Egyptian Pounds<br />
Al Watani <strong>Bank</strong> <strong>of</strong> Egypt issues Certificates <strong>of</strong> Deposits in Egyptian Pounds which <strong>of</strong>fers <strong>Thahabi</strong> customers<br />
an Investment opportunity to gain a steady income at an attractive interest rate on their deposits.<br />
<strong>Thahabi</strong> customers have the option to book the Certificate <strong>of</strong> Deposit for a period <strong>of</strong> 3 or 5 years, and receive<br />
fixed income with a maximum annual interest rate <strong>of</strong> 9.5% payable monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually,<br />
depending on the maturity selected.<br />
Al Watani <strong>Bank</strong> <strong>of</strong> Egypt Certificates <strong>of</strong> Deposits are <strong>of</strong>fered through <strong>National</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Kuwait</strong> branches for<br />
all resident <strong>Thahabi</strong> Egyptians customers and other customers who are interested in opening an account in<br />
Egypt and booking the Certificate <strong>of</strong> Deposit.<br />
NBK ties up with new Partners for Privileged Offers to our customers<br />
NBK tied up with Etihad Airways, the <strong>National</strong> Airline <strong>of</strong> the UAE, whereby any NBK credit card holder<br />
receives get up to 15% discount on airline tickets for specific destinations when using their credit card to<br />
make the booking.<br />
This <strong>of</strong>fer is valid until 31st May 2010 for all NBK MasterCard/ Visa Gold and Platinum, Laki MasterCard<br />
Titanium, MasterCard World, and Visa Infinite Holders.<br />
In addition, NBK has also tied up with “The One” furniture store whereby <strong>Thahabi</strong> customers receive an<br />
immediate 10% discount, for all furniture and accessories, when making their purchase through their NBK<br />
credit card. This <strong>of</strong>fer is exclusive to <strong>Thahabi</strong> customers.
