REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (<strong>RFI</strong>) : <strong>POLLUTION</strong> <strong>CHECK</strong> <strong>EQPT</strong>-<br />

<strong>DIESEL</strong> <strong>SMOKE</strong> <strong>METER</strong><br />

1. Indian Army is planning to procure Pollution Check Eqpt-Diesel Smoke Meter<br />

(DSM) to implement prevalent pollution emission norms for Defence vehicles. The<br />

equipment should conform to applicable pollution emission norms i.e. BS-III/BS-IV and<br />

must have capability for upgradation to future norms.<br />

2. It is proposed to identify probable ‘Original Equipment Manufacturer’<br />

(OEM)/Vendors who can supply Diesel Smoke Meter to implement applicable pollution<br />

emission norms throughout India for defence vehicles. OEM/Vendors are requested to<br />

forward comprehensive details of theirs Diesel Smoke Meter (DSM) as per<br />

questionnaire attached. The responses are required to be forwarded within 28 days<br />

from the date of publication of this <strong>RFI</strong> at the following address :-<br />
