REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) : POLLUTION CHECK EQPT-
DIESEL SMOKE METER
1. Indian Army is planning to procure Pollution Check Eqpt-Diesel Smoke Meter
(DSM) to implement prevalent pollution emission norms for Defence vehicles. The
equipment should conform to applicable pollution emission norms i.e. BS-III/BS-IV and
must have capability for upgradation to future norms.
2. It is proposed to identify probable ‘Original Equipment Manufacturer’
(OEM)/Vendors who can supply Diesel Smoke Meter to implement applicable pollution
emission norms throughout India for defence vehicles. OEM/Vendors are requested to
forward comprehensive details of theirs Diesel Smoke Meter (DSM) as per
questionnaire attached. The responses are required to be forwarded within 28 days
from the date of publication of this RFI at the following address :-
