An evolution of the iconic Balzac armchair, the Baude takes the original 

form forward with a few subtle changes. The solid beech frame is 

upholstered with multi-density foam and is mounted on stainless steel 

glide legs. By slightly lengthening the profile and lowering the sitting 

position, Matthew Hilton has created a chair that is ideal for domestic or

Eadie armchair 

Donna Wilson 

Like all successful armchair designs, Eadie mixes comfort with function by embracing 

contemporary form whilst referencing tried and tested characteristics from the past. Made in 

the UK at SCP’s factory in Thetford, Eadie is structured with a European hardwood frame, jute 

webbing and Hessian straps. In replacement of petrochemical materials such as rubber and 

foam, SCP’s upholsterers use a mix of sustainable materials that include natural fibres, horse 

hair and wool to cover the frame. Eadie has a large full feather upholstered cushion that sits 

neatly within the rounded frame and turned beech legs with a gentle taper. The back of the 

frame gently arcs, creating a crescent shape to make the chair more accommodating whilst 

keeping a low profile.

Haggerston sofa 


The Haggerston is a large comfortable sofa with a little added depth that 

encourages you to recline. The solid beech tapered frame has elasticated 

webbing and is covered in multi-density foam. It has six foam seat and 

back cushions that are plump and comfortable. Two loose feather arm 

cushions fit at either end. The base sits on turned aluminium legs.

Hue sofa 

Donna Wilson 

Inspired by series of coloured boxes, the Hue sofa uses three different 

shades of colour on each face of the piece, adding emphasis to the outline 

of the form. The frame is made from hardwood with multi-density foam 

and lacquered beech turned legs. Hue is adorned with a button on the seat 

and back, and a single stitch cross detail on the back. The seat itself is very 

long at nearly two metres and the arms are solid, ideal for using a laptop. 

Hue comes in four different colourways and a removable arm tray made 

from stock leather is also available. Donna Wilson’s design is bold, 

comfortable and reassuringly familiar.

Mabel sofa 

Donna Wilson 

The Mabel sofa is Donna Wilson’s second large upholstery piece for SCP. The sofa is made from 

a European hardwood frame, jute webbing and hessian straps and then covered with a mix of 

materials that includes natural fibres, animal hair and wool. It has four large full feather button 

upholstered cushions that sit neatly within the rounded frame. The back and arms of the frame 

gently arc inwards, creating a crescent shape to accommodate the seat and back cushions. The 

legs are turned beech and have a gentle inward taper. The Mabel sofa hints at a North European 

heritage, devoid of superfluous details, comfortable and serene. The Mabel sofa is shown in a 

specially commissioned Donna Wilson printed linen, only available through SCP.

Oban sofa and ottoman 

Russell Pinch 

The Oban is a large deep-seated sofa upholstered in forty-eight separate 

squares of leather that takes inspiration from geometrical patterns. The 

frame is made from hardwood and covered in multi-density foam. The 

elongated cube shape sofa has profiled foam on the inside of the arms and 

back. It sits upon two bead blasted epoxy powder coated cantilever legs. 

The upholstery of the Oban is a lavish process. Each leather panel is first 

single stitched then the whole piece is finished with a twin-needling 

machine and finally four pulls are sewn in to the seat. Russell Pinch designs 

rarefied pieces, paired down, effortless and always comfortable. Oban is 

notably masculine in form, a gentleman amongst sofas.

in pulls, lending the sofa the appearance of a buttoned back, without the actual buttons. The feet

Reading chair 


The Reading chair from Matthew Hilton has been revisited and refined. It 

has a smaller footprint and the frame design gives greater comfort. It is 

made from a solid oak frame, upholstered with multi-density foam.

Riley sofa 

Russell Pinch 

The Riley sofa is a deep-seated button-upholstered piece that exudes 

luxurious formality. The frame is solid beech, with back and arms button 

upholstered with multi-density foam and elasticated webbing. For added 

comfort it has two large upholstered feather seat cushions. The high 

saddle stitched arms and back give a sense intimacy and comfort to the 

user. The legs are solid oak, tapered to reflect the tender curvature of the 

arms and back. The Riley sofa is stuffed with stature and personality, 

expansive, comfortable and charming.

The Wingback armchair is a modern interpretation of an old theme. The sharp defined angles and

An updated verison of Matthew Hilton’s original Wing armchair, 

distinguished by it’s rounded arms and saddle stitching seam detail. The 

stainless steel glide base has been replaced with elegant turned American

Drysdale sofa 

PearsonLloyd 

The Drysdale is a large, low-lying modular sofa system that can be easily 

reconfigured. The sofa system has a painted solid beech base that is 

joined together using specially designed connectors. Each unit has a 

sprung seat and shaped foam cushions wrapped in feather. This piece is 

large, resplendent in its comfort and ideal for expansive domestic spaces 

and contract use. PearsonLloyd have utilised their industrial design 

experience to make a potentially complex product effortless in both 

construction and aesthetic.

Orford sofa system 


The Orford is an unassuming and relaxed piece of furniture. When Hilton 

designed it he summed up his approach; “I like low, deep and comfortable 

seating, something that is calm, inviting and open, and that allows for a 

choice of configurations.”

Munro chesterfield sofa 

Donna Wilson 

The Munro chesterfield sofa is made from a European hardwood frame, zig zag springs 

and is upholstered in natural fibres, animal hair and wool. It features two large piped 

edged feather cushions that are notable for their depth. The back is deep buttoned and 

hand pleated. It has turned stained beech legs with brass plated wheels. This timeless 

and enduring sofa design had been remade by SCP. Large and robust, the chesterfield 

is comfortable, familiar and grand. The sofa is upholstered in Bora Da fabric, a double 

cloth designed by Donna Wilson, also available in fabric or leather. Made in the UK.

Motley ottoman 

Donna Wilson 

Material marvel Donna Wilson has designed Motley, a deep-buttoned 

Chesterfield inspired footstool. Motley is made in a knitted wool specially 

knitted by Donna Wilson. Motley makes the case for easily moved 

functional pieces that can be used for perching, resting or leaning. It 

playfully uses colour and form, is peculiarly just off being square, and 

articulates a quirky sense of joy so present in all lovable furniture.

Wilma bench 

Donna Wilson 

Fresh and spring like, the Wilma bench can be used to sit on and is also firm enough to be used 

as a table. Manufactured at SCP’s factory in Britain, Wilma’s upholstered seat has been made 

using sustainable materials such as rubberised coconut hair, which gives the seat a crisp and 

firm feel. The seat is finished in Donna’s very own patterned Mabel linen, which complements 

its simple form and clean lines. The cushioned seat is perched upon four turned solid beech 

legs, which are slightly splayed giving the stool a light appearance and a playful personality.

chrome plated steel legs and two laser cut sheets of toughened glass. 

They were designed with a timeless modernist touch and have proved their

The Blackwell is an exceptionally strong piece visually, yet has the type of 

equilibrium and hardiness required to serve as a workaday dining stalwart

Cedric desk 

Kay+Stemmer 

The Cedric desk is an exercise in simplicity, refinement and deft detailing. 

Kay+Stemmer have drawn on all of their Parnham School training to 

produce a piece that has perfect proportion and reveals a mastery of 

craftmanship often overlooked in contemporary design. At first glance, the 

desk has an angular and formal appearance, yet closer inspection reveals 

a proliferation of rounded edges in the detailing, softening its overall look 

and highlighting the sense of subtlety in the piece. The Cedric is made 

from solid European walnut and features a dark brown leather top and 

lined drawers. This is one for the purists.

Peggy table 

PearsonLloyd 

PearsonLloyd have designed a new table system for SCP. The Peggy 

series is designed for both residential dining and commercial use. A 

contract version is available with optional cable management and tops of 

up to 4 x 1.5 metres. The table is made from solid ash, with a veneered ash 

top and solid lipping. It has been designed for flexibility of use and has a 

supporting frame that is designed to accommodate cables and data 

access. A refined aesthetic is created through the elliptical shape of the 

angle support frame and the subtle rotation of the oval legs, which are 

linked to the top by a mortis and tennon joint. A sense of proportion is 

established through the consistent 45-degree angle of the leg to the 

tabletop corner. The tabletop is 25 mm thick and will be available in a 

number of finishes and sizes.

234 table 


The 234 table system has been designed for a wide range of 

environments and applications, both commercial and domestic. It is now 

available with black or white screen-printed toughened glass. The bases of 

either three or four legs are made from mild steel throughout with a cast 

mild steel connecting knuckle, available in a polished or matt chrome 

finish.

Joe side table 

Michael Marriott 

The Joe side table is made from solid ash and features a round top, single 

central stem and a square base. The top has three holes clustered around 

the central stem, allowing the lightweight table to be picked up and moved 

around with ease. This three hole top detail matches the grip of bowling 

ball and is typical of Michael Marriott’s design style, an extended 

exploration into how objects influence our lives and how they are used 

daily.

Tom Tom and Tam Tam tables 

Konstantin Grcic 

Originally designed for SCP in 1992, the Tam Tam and Tom Tom tables 

have been re-issued by SCP. This pair of adjustable tables have mild steel 

bases finished in chocolate brown lacquer, solid beech columns finished in 

matt lacquer and MDF tops finished in light green and purple lacquer. This 

classical design by Konstantin Grcic is fluent in both its design language 

and its pragmatism. His eloquent use of the square and the circle evokes 

the spirit of the Bauhaus.

Coltrane low table 


The Coltrane low table by Terence Woodgate is an update of the classic Sax rectangular 

table. This design blends materials, it features two shelves, the lower one in veneered 

ash with solid ash lipping and the upper one in 12mm toughened glass. The construction 

of the table is remarkably simple, the solid ash legs are screwed together through the 

lower shelf and the glass shelf is placed on top. The top is held firm by rubber pads at 

the top of the legs. This design has all the hallmarks of Terence Woodgate, balance, 

proportion and effortless elegance. Made in EU.

Pelutho low table 

Lee Kirkbride 

The Pelutho low table by Lee Kirkbride is an exercise in advanced wood engineering. 

The table is made from solid ash, yet is very light in both appearance and actual weight. 

It features a rectangular top with rounded edges and a structural base of cylindrical 

wood. The design is distinguished by its base, with inward leaning supporting legs and 

semi-circular end joints that give the table structural rigidity. The form of the Pelutho is 

particularly distinctive, both recognisable and somehow remote. Made in the EU.

Agnes and Edith shelves 

Kay + Stemmer 

Design Duo, Kay + Stemmer have designed a pair of freestanding shelves called Edith and 

Agnes. Edith is the smaller 3-shelf version and Agnes is taller with 5 shelves. The shelves come 

fully assembled and have the hallmarks of classical training; details include radius edges, a 

gentle upwards taper and perfect proportion. The result is a notably softened looking shelving 

range, free standing with poise and a sense visual balance.

Jeeves coat rack 

Kay+Stemmer 

The Jeeves coat rack has all the usual coherence associated with Kay+Stemmer products. It 

is wall mounted and made from solid and veneered European oak and comes with a polished 

edged rectangular mirror. It features five large coat hooks crafted in cone shapes and three 

smaller cylindrical hooks, for items such as keys. Jeeves sits flush against the wall, the top 

section, which acts as an enclosed shelf, is also where the mirror sits. Understated and 

utilitarian, Jeeves is as articulate as it is practical.

Timberly hall rack 

Rich Brilliant Willing 

The Timberly hall rack is a neat little utilitarian design that evokes memories of simple wooden 

toys and childhood building blocks. The rack is wall-mounted and features a grid of holes, it 

comes with eight pegs in three different sizes that can be fitted into the grid in any configuration. 

This Rich Brilliant Willing design is playfully conceived and graphic in nature. Handy for the 

miscellaneous in life, from car-keys, bags and umbrellas, to coats, scarfs and hats. Made in the 

EU.

Compass trestles 


The Compass trestles are a study in elegance and balance. Made from steamed solid beech, they 

are designed with practicality and stability in mind. The Compass consists of three component 

parts that fit together to create a sturdy table base. The top height is adjustable and can fit the 

needs of a table, desk or workbench. The Compass is notable for its finely drawn details, tapered 

legs that ascend into a mid-leg curve and rounded neoprene pads that secure the tabletop. 

The Compass comes as a pair, a separate range of tabletops in different sizes and finishes are 

available to accompany them. Available in a natural or stained black finish.

Calvo table 

Lee Kirkbride 

Lee Kirkbride’s Calvo side table lends itself to a variety of settings and a number of uses. It’s 

tilted stem and 3-point base allow Calvo to sit closer and more comfortably next to an armchair, 

sofa or bed. The tabletop is produced from solid ash and incorporates a recessed surface 

giving the top a delicate tray edge detail. The stretcher that connects the column and the foot of 

Calvo’s base is tapered to give the illusion of an elegantly shaped twist.

Ulrik stool and bar stool 

Alex Hellum 

As a development of Alex Hellum’s Ulrik stool launched in 2009 this year SCP introduces 

the Ulrik barstool. Both stools display the same solid ash legs and seat with a beautifully 

executed joinery detail that allows the seat to be constructed from two separate parts. The 

stool’s ergonomics have been adjusted to suit its elevated position. The seat of the bar stool 

lies horizontally allowing the user to sit more comfortably and the fold of the seat is positioned 

towards the back to form a backrest which doubles as a handle. These adjustments link the 

seat to the footrest at the front and give the stool both poise and direction.

SUM shelves 

Peter Marigold 

SUM is a wall mounted asymmetrical shelving system made in solid cherry with brass fixings. 

SUM comes as a set of three, with the individual shelves in three sizes, designed to fit together 

in an infinite number of ways. Each sized piece is different in shape, with three of the four sides 

featuring a groove that allows for flexible configuration. The idea with SUM is that it can be built 

up to any size; depending on the wall or location it is placed in. Peter Marigold has created 

a geometric system that is both playful and bespoke. The finish and quality of SUM is to the 

highest standard and features a refined joinery detail in the corners.

Otto side table 

Kay+Stemmer 

The Otto side table is a modest and well-proportioned design that features a fully removable 

drawer. Made from solid oak, the Otto has a circular base and top, a reverse tapered central 

column and a rectangular box drawer that sits under the top. The drawer itself has coneshaped 

handles, a central divider inside and can be opened from either side. Subtle details 

such as the chamfered edge on the table top bestow this piece with an elegance and poise, 

all its own. Made in EU.

Notime, Nightime, Finetime clocks 

Farrow 

One of the UK’s most highly respected graphic design practices Farrow has created a series of 

clocks for SCP called Notime, Nightime and Finetime. The three clocks are Farrow’s first venture 

into product design and perfectly encapsulate Farrow’s clean and minimal iconic graphic style 

whilst communicating their own individual message about time. Notime is a clock with a pure 

white face with minimal fluorescent detailing, Nightime, a luminous version with a black face 

and Finetime, with more extensive fluorescent detailing for a more accurate reading of the time. 

Enclosed in an anodised aluminium case, each clock features a seamlessly sweeping second 

hand with matching screen printed detailing on an aluminium face, whilst a battery quartz 

movement keeps an accurate time. Made in the UK.

Sprig Collection 

Donna Wilson & SCP 

The Sprig Collection comprises a teacup and saucer, a mug, milk jug, side plate and a salad 

bowl. It features a number of springtime inspired patterns of leaves and flora by Scottish 

designer Donna Wilson. The Sprig Collection is produced in Stoke-on-Trent with china clay

Sprig Collection 


The Sprig Collection comprises a teapot, teacup and saucer, a mug, milk jug, dinner plate, side 

plate and a salad bowl. It features a number of springtime inspired patterns of leaves and flora 

by Scottish designer Donna Wilson. The Sprig Collection is produced in Stoke-on-Trent with 

china clay sourced from St. Austell in Cornwall. The Sprig Collection is an overtly idiosyncratic

Josiah pendant lights 


The Josiah pendant lights are made in bone china, they have been tailor-made to accommodate 

the latest low-energy, long-life compact fluorescent light bulbs. Terence Woodgate has created a 

forward thinking design, notable for its simplicity, elegance and grace. Josiah is made in Stokeon-Trent, 

the spiritual home of English fine bone china, famous for its whiteness and translucent 

quality. The Josiah lights are as versatile as they are beautiful; they can be fitted with the latest 

innovative light sources, making them suitable for both commercial and residential environments. 

Each lamp is suspended by a braided textile cable available in white, red or grey. When unlit 

the shades have a high gloss super white presence and when lit they provide a soft warm glow.

Donna Wilson has come up with a playful response to the problem of occasional seating with a 

range of three low-lying pouffes, designed to bring a little softness, intimacy and colour into the 

home. Each pouffe is made by hand stuffing Calico bags and upholstering them with panels, reminiscent 

of segments of an orange. The pouffes come in three sizes. Henry is a slightly taller cylinder 

shape while Frank and Ernest are lower flattened ball shape in two sizes. The pouffes are made 

at SCP’s upholstery factory in the England and are available in Nos Da, Zig Zag and Treecloud 

fabric. Made in Britain.

Nos Da Collection 


The Nos Da Collection designed by Donna Wilson for SCP, incorporating blankets, cushions, 

throws and bags is available in six different colourways. 

Nos Da is a range of traditionally made Welsh textiles. The wool for this collection is specially 

spun and dyed in England and then woven in Wales by a traditional mill that has been in the 

same family for over a century. Using a time-honoured double cloth weaving technique Donna 

has been able to create a pleasing multi-layered aesthetic, full of character. SCP and Donna 

Wilson are delighted to tap into the rich thread of British textile. Made in Britain.

The Nos Da shoulder bag is large in size yet lightweight to carry. Two sets of sturdy leather 

handles are riveted onto the bag, one for carrying in your hand and the other for over your 

shoulder. A handy zip pocket is incorporated into the bags interior, which is lined with a hardwearing 

water resistant waxed cotton. Made in Britain.

Bora Da Collection 


Bora Da is the new traditionally made Welsh textile designed by Donna Wilson for SCP, it follows 

on from the popular Nos Da collection from the same mill. The new fabric is initially available as 

cushions and throws, in six different colourways. 

The Bora Da fabric is made from British wool that is specially spun and dyed in England and 

then woven in Wales by a traditional mill that has been in the same family for over a century. 

Bora Da uses a single ply fine wool, which is both soft and strong. The result is a fine fabric 

that is lighter in nature than its sister fabric Nos Da. Using a time-honored double cloth weaving 

technique Donna has been able to create a pleasing multi-layered aesthetic, full of character. 

SCP and Donna Wilson are delighted to tap into the rich thread of British textile. Made in the UK.

Rug Collection 


The Rug Collection by Donna Wilson is a fine example of SCP’s dedication to experimentation and love 

of production methods. The rugs are hand-made in India, using three different techniques: flat-weaving, 

hand-looming and hand-tufting. All stages of the production process take place under one roof using 

these time-honoured techniques. Donna Wilson is a classically trained textile designer, she brings an 

intuitive understanding of how to harmonize process, pattern and colour to the Rug Collection. 

The Rug Collection is made in India. SCP work with the highest quality craftsmen and women across

Fairisle is a hand-loomed rug. Its chunky knit texture and brightly coloured zigzag pattern resembles a

Scope is a luxurious hand-tufted rug of bright colour and striking angular shapes. The rug takes 

inspiration from the kaleidoscope, its pattern and shape spinning out from the centre. Scope has a

Mountain Spot is a traditional handmade, flat-weave kilim depicting a graphic interpretation of snow-covered 

mountain peaks. The age-old flat-weave production technique has remained widely unchanged over time, it
