farm. Search our amazing garden for<br />
edible flowers and greens, then create<br />
your own pita pizza and freshly picked<br />
salad for a healthy lunch to eat! No<br />
adult participation required!<br />

For kids only, ages 6 - 11<br />
Come dye eggs the old-fashioned way<br />
like your great grandma, by gathering the<br />
ingredients from the farm! After stopping<br />
by the hen house to pick up our eggs,<br />
we will wander through the garden to<br />
gather colorful plants and vegetables to<br />
make dye the natural way. Each child will<br />
dye their own eggs, and weave a simple<br />
basket out of recycled materials to take<br />
home their hardboiled treat.<br />
No adult participation required - enjoy a<br />
hike while your child is in class.<br />
Location: Wolken Education Center<br />
$25 per child, no adult required to<br />

Enjoy a rare opportunity to enjoy <strong>Hidden</strong><br />
<strong>Villa</strong> after hours. Bring a flashlight and<br />
experience our back country trails with<br />
an experienced naturalist guide, as light<br />
fades and the stars come out. There’s<br />
nothing like the intimate feeling of<br />
darkness to bring you and your family<br />
closer than ever to your connection to<br />
the natural world! Recommended for<br />
ages 6 and up — trail is moderately<br />
challenging.<br />

garden and gathering crispy lettuce,<br />

for dinner… sound like fantasy? Do<br />
you dream of a pretty garden, but you<br />
barely know a rake from a shovel? Never<br />
fear… this class is for you! Now is the<br />
time to plant -- our expert teachers are<br />
kind, patient and super knowledgeable<br />
-- they’ll get you going on your<br />
dream garden in no time! Potluck lunch<br />

Sheep Shearing Day<br />
Saturday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm<br />
For all ages<br />
Come see our sheep get their annual<br />
haircut! Cheer hardworking herding dogs<br />
as they round up sheep! Get your hands<br />
into all kinds of activities and see how<br />
fleece from sheep turns into wonderful<br />
wool. Make a felt pouch, create some<br />
crazy yarn critters, and try out finger<br />
knitting. Special “Little Lambs” activity<br />
area for toddlers and preschoolers too.<br />

The Scoop on Poop<br />
Thursday, 2:00 - 4:00pm<br />
For ages 3 to 5, plus caregivers<br />
Get the scoop on poop in this fun<br />
gardening class just for preschoolers.<br />
We’ll meet at the Kiosk, gather our farm<br />
tools and head out onto the farm to<br />
collect all the ingredients we need to<br />
plant our <strong>Spring</strong> garden…even poop!<br />
We’ll discover why poop is an important<br />
ingredient in everything we eat from<br />
fruits and veggies to milk and ice cream.<br />

Saturday, 8 – 10 pm<br />
Family program, activities designed for<br />
ages 6 and up<br />
Join us at this introduction to our<br />
beautiful night sky and an evening full<br />
of astronomical wonders! Environmental<br />
Educator Mila will teach you about the<br />
sparkling stars, planets, constellations,<br />
and galaxies - plus ancient navigation<br />
techniques and mythological stories!<br />
Enjoy hot cocoa, spectacular images,<br />
and enthralling constellation stories,<br />
before creating your own hand-made<br />
star chart and heading outside for some<br />
guided night sky exploration! Bring warm<br />
clothes, a flashlight, and a blanket.<br />

Future Farmers<br />

Ages 7-11yrs, must have been born by<br />
September 2005<br />
Does your child love animals? Now they<br />
can shadow our interns as they do their<br />
afternoon chores. They’ll see first hand<br />
how we care for our wonderful Cows,<br />
Sheep, Goats, Chickens and Pigs. Sure<br />
to be an experience to remember! In<br />
a small group of only 4 total, this is a<br />
kids-only class - no adult participation<br />
required.<br />
