The Work Rooms are open to everyone in the community!<br />
They provide a one-stop resource centre for those looking to explore<br />
career options, whether it is deciding on a future career, changing careers<br />
or re-evaluating a career. The Work Rooms provide free access to the<br />
internet, fax, and vast multimedia career resources through a huge lending<br />
library.<br />
The Work Rooms offer a large variety of services to the public,<br />
free of charge. They can help you; explore career fields, identify marketable<br />
skills, polish your resume, write a cover letter, create a portfolio,<br />
refine your interview skills, research employers, find job opportunities, and<br />
prepare for employment.The Work Room provides internet access for job<br />
search, resume writing and career research, free workshops and special<br />
training events including access to on-line computer training, and one-onone<br />
consultation to help you find the answers you are looking for!<br />
The Work Room Career Resource Centres, with four locations in<br />
southwestern New Brunswick, are here to assist you in all phases of<br />
career planning and job search. The centres are made possible through<br />
a partnership between the Department of Post Secondary Education,<br />
Training and Labour, and School Districts 6 and 8.<br />
