or potential member of the <strong>KV</strong> Chamber of Commerce. Our new website<br />
www.kvcc.ca was launched for your use in November 2010. You,<br />
as a <strong>KV</strong>CC member, now have a secure webpage to promote your<br />
business in any way you wish—upload specials, photos, and descriptions<br />
of your products and services. This information supports our<br />
online Local <strong>Business</strong> <strong>Director</strong>y featuring you and other <strong>KV</strong>CC members.<br />
The Chamber is also proud to display your Member Benefits<br />
Program. This is a program where you may offer an incentive, promotion,<br />
and/or discounts to fellow members. All member-to-member benefits<br />
are listed on our website for a period of one year. Remember, our<br />
directional slogan is Shop the Valley,<br />

In order to provide membership services at the <strong>KV</strong>CC, participation by<br />
you and other members is key. We invite you to join and to sit on your<br />
choice of three of our primary committees which assist in directing the<br />
business activities of the Chamber. These committees are as follows:<br />
Membership; Social & Activities; and Government & Civic Relations.<br />

Throughout the year several ad-hoc committees are struck in order to<br />
support our community and social events. There is something for<br />
everyone from barbeques, to riverboat cruises, to our <strong>KV</strong>CC One Item<br />
Food Drive. Become involved and help develop our local business<br />
community.<br />
Education sessions and social events are planned with you in mind.<br />
These are posted on our site’s Calendar of Events. At the <strong>KV</strong>CC we<br />
strive to provide all of these sessions free to you, the member, as part<br />
of your membership fees. We do, however, have three major events<br />
throughout the year where a fee is required. It is through these major<br />
events that we are able to fund your member programs. These major<br />
events are open to members and non-members alike. Our events are<br />
the Annual Spring Dinner, the <strong>KV</strong>CC Golf Tournament and the Awards<br />
Gala in the fall.<br />
We are very pleased to announce that on Monday, May 2nd both the<br />
Hon. Blaine Higgs and the Hon. Margaret-Ann Blaney will be the<br />
keynote speakers at our 2011 Annual Spring Dinner. If you have any<br />
