• ELECTION OF COUNCIL<br />

Cliff Hocking’s announcement that he was not available for re-election as President was<br />

noted with regret. However, Cliff agreed to remain a member of the Council.<br />

The Council for <strong>2010</strong>/11 was elected as follows:<br />

Bill Ward (Colliers Representative)<br />

Brendon Burger (Broll representative / alternate)<br />

Ernest Sikupela<br />

Hombisa Hombela Bubu (Intersite representative)<br />

John Samuel<br />

Keith Thompson<br />

Makhwenkwe Lukuko (TFMC representative)<br />

Nicolette van den Eijkel<br />

Ronald Nothnagel (WSP representative / alternate)<br />

It was agreed that council members would be elected to their positions at the first<br />

Council meeting.<br />

Douglas Weinrich reiterated that the Council as elected would not all be named as<br />

Directors of the new Section 21 Company once it was incorporated, but that the new<br />

directors would be named from this list.<br />

It was AGREED that Nicolette van den Eijkel as the Secretary would call the next Council<br />

meeting.<br />

• GENERAL<br />

Nicolette van den Eijkel, on behalf of SAFMA members thanked Cliff Hocking for his<br />

commitment to SAFMA and for the work he has put in during his tenure as President.<br />

Nicolette also reiterated the need for input from members into the running of SAFMA<br />
