growing membership we are in a strong financial position.<br />

Our thanks go to the sponsors and hosts of these various events.<br />
Attendance at the functions was not always good and members must let us know whether<br />
they would like us to continue with these functions and if so what type of topics they<br />
would like covered.<br />
We have just concluded a highly successful annual conference, one that has exceeded<br />
what has been achieved before. We can therefore look forward to even bigger and even<br />
better next year.<br />
• Website<br />
Our website is still our main point of contact with members and we are seeing an<br />
increasing volume of visitors to the site. From 1 September we will be launching the<br />
“knowledge bank” which will be open to paid-up SAFMA members only. You will all be<br />
receiving emails advising you how to register for this.<br />
