I know when I’m in
St. Catharines, not by the
welcome sign on the QEW, but
by the feeling that I get when
I’m here. There’s no other city in
this world that gives off such a
strong community-like feeling.
Some of my fondest memories
were spent at Montebello
Park where strangers became
colleagues and colleagues
became close friends.
I am so grateful that I got to
spend my time growing up in
such an amazing place.
St. Catharines is a fantastic
city and I can’t wait for the
opportunity to meet new
people from all over the world
and introduce them to my
favourite pastimes in
my hometown.
Each season presents an agricultural
wonderland of cherry blossoms in spring, lush
green trails in summer, the golden fields of
fall, and flowing maple syrup in winter.
St. Catharines is a four season outdoor playland
with something for every weekend warrior.
The Bruce Trail runs through some of the
most picturesque parts of our city along
the escarpment and Welland Canals system
including a UNESCO designated World
Biosphere Reserve. What better place to walk,
run, bike or skate?
Port Dalhousie offers the warmth and charm
of a seaside retreat just minutes from the
downtown core. Enjoy water sports, fishing, a
beautiful marina, sandy beach and fabulous
dining...It‘s all in St. Catharines.
