Growing up in St. Catharines
heavily influenced my comedy
and writing. I’m not sure why.
It’s not really a comical city.
Although, I did always have
quite the chuckle during The
Grape and Wine Festival, but
since then I laugh because I’m
amazed at how impressive
it has grown. My funniest
memory was performing
in a play for Garden City
Productions. My whole family
came...and left at intermission.
No matter the season, your age or interests, we
have a festival or event waiting for you! From
the Niagara Wine Festival celebrating its 60th
anniversary, to the inaugural Busker Fest, there
is something for every taste.
Warm up this winter with the Downtown Chili
Cookoff. Experience spring in the city with
pancake weekends at White Meadows Farms
or check out In the Soil, a celebration of
St. Catharines’ arts scene. Welcome summer
with winery tours and live concerts in
Montebello Park.
With Fall comes the Niagara Wine Festival,
Historic Ghost Walks and the Ball’s Falls
Thanksgiving Festival.
Young, young at heart, adventurer or foodie we
