education
Calicut (16/12/2012): Human Welfare Foundation won the award
for nationwide outstanding contributions in education. Professor
K.A Sidheeq Hassan (General Secretary, Human Welfare
Foundation) received the award from Dr. M Abdussalam, Vice
Chancellor, Calicut University. The award was organized by
Chamber of Education, New Delhi and Calicut University at the
university Seminar Complex.
The judging committee said the award is given to Human Welfare
Foundation for the work it had done for the upliftment of the
backward sections across north India. By helping in establishing
44 schools, organizing awards for academic excellence,
educational scholarships, scholarships for civil services and slum
schools, Human Welfare Foundation has helped a great role in
creating educational awareness and motivation for the backward
sections.

Benevolent
brothers living in Muscat sponsored 80 blankets for each of
the three districts, that is, a total of 240 blankets. These
blankets were distributed through local chapters, or active
organizations in each location. A sum of Rs. 28,470/= was
sent to each unit to purchase and distribute the blankets.
Total Rs. 85,410/= worth of blankets were arranged for the
poor destitute families to fight against a record-breaking
winter season in Bihar. Below are some pics from the

T.V Ibrahim (Syndicare Member, Calicult University), Professor
VCK. Reveendranath, Dr. P.K. Noushad, M.V Zakariya spoke on the
occasion. The award was declared on the occasion of national
educational summit of Chamber of Education.
