Appendix 3: Demographics of mathematics teachers – additional information Chapter 6 describes the age distribution, teaching experience and gender characteristics of mathematics teachers nationally. Section 6.3 includes an analysis of age by employment history, and Section 6.4 describes the gender ration of teachers of various year levels. Table A3.1 details the distribution of mathematics teachers by three criteria: age; teaching experience; and gender.
