PROGRESS IN FUEL QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN VIETNAM

1 – INTRODUCTION
• Until now almost fuel products used for
domestic demand in Vietnam are imported,
among those, gasoline and diesel take up high
ratio.
• The exhaust fumes from automobiles using
gasoline and diesel are main source causing
environmental pollution, especially in big cities.
• The Vietnamese government has effort to
minimize the pollution problem.
• One of the solutions for increasing air quality is
improvement of environmental standards and
fuel specifications.
