Allah, seeking nearness to Him, and not nol for worldly reasons, pride or<br />
position, or obtaining a title or reputation.<br />
2. It lt is desirable for the traveler lraveler to first lirst write his will and slate state what he<br />
owes and what is owed to him. He should return any trusts in his<br />
possession to lo their owners or else obtain their permission to retain<br />
them, for our lives are in the Hand of Allah.<br />
3. 3, One should repent from lrom sins and disobedience to Allah, regretting<br />
what was past and determining not to return to such sins again.<br />
4. 4 He must return any property taken unjustly unjuslly if he had done so, and<br />
compensate people for lor wrongs done to them. If lf unable, he must ask<br />
them for tor their forgiveness.<br />
5. For Hajj or Umrah one must use halal wealth because Allah is pure<br />
and accepls accepts only what is pure.<br />
6. One should avoid all kinds of wrongdoing. He should not harm<br />
anyone by his tongue or his hand.<br />
He should not push and crowd<br />
other pilgrims in a way that will harm them. He should neither<br />
backbite others nor spread gossip; nor should he h€ argue with his<br />
companions or others olhers except in a good way.<br />
He should not nol lie or say<br />
things about Allah of which he has no knowledge<br />
