Tender Notice /2012-13/12
1. Sealed Item Rate tenders are invited by Sr, Manager (Engg-Civil), MIHAN India Limited, Dr. Babasaheb
Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur on behalf of Sr. Airport Director, MIL, Nagpur, from enlisted
contractors of AAI / CPWD / MES / P&T / State PWD / PSU’s or specialized agencies for the work of
“Construction of drainage line near baggage make up area apron side at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar
International Airport, Nagpur”. Estimated cost Rs 3.96 Lacs, Time – 03 ( Three ) months. The scope of
work is construction of open drains on airside BMA area of terminal building.
2. Tenders will be issued on 02.01.2013 received till 14.01.2013 up to 15:00 hrs. and opened on the same day at
15:30 hrs.
3. Tender forms will be issued to those contractors who produce certificate from clients of having satisfactorily
completed (# Phase / Part completion of the scope of the work in a contract shall not be considered.) at least
three works each of Rs. 1.58 Lacs or two works each of Rs. 1.98 Lacs or one work of Rs 3.17 Lacs of similar
nature during the last seven years ending on 30 th November 2012 . The firms should produce proof of
annualized average financial turnover of Rs. 1.19 Lacs during the last three years ending on 31st March of
previous financial year. Consortiums / Joint Venture Companies shall not be permitted.
4. Application for issue of tender document shall be submitted upto 31.12.2012 on all working days along with
tender fee of Rs. 520/- (Rs. Five Hundred Twenty Only) (Non refundable) in the form of Demand Draft /
Drawn (Scheduled / Nationalized Bank) in favor of MIHAN India Limited payable at Nagpur. The
application shall be supported with self attested copies of valid registration, Permanent Account Number (PAN)
and client certificate for experience indicating date of completion as per agreement and actual date of
completion of work, Completion cost, Copies of PF & ESI registration etc. The financial turnover should be
supported with annual report (abridge balance sheet and profit & loss account) and documentary proof of
owning, leasing and possessing required machinery and T&P, shall be submitted.
5. Purchase Preference to Central Public Sector undertaking shall be applicable as per the directives of Govt. of
India prevalent on the date of acceptance
6. Contractor requesting for tender documents by post shall mention the same in application itself. MIL shall not
be anyway responsible for delay / loss of documents and any request for extension of date of submission of
tender will be summarily rejected. If any agency requires the tender by post, Rs. 200/- for postage charges shall
be deposited by the agency in the form of demand draft in favor of MIL payable at Nagpur separately along
with their application.
7 a) The agency should also have valid PF registration, Further ESI registration also required if mandated by State
Government regulations. Necessary documents in support thereof shall be submitted within 15 days of issue of
work order, incase of non-submission of these documents along with the application.
b) Sales Tax / Purchase Tax / Turnover tax / Octroi / Royalty / CESS / work contract tax / VAT or any other tax
on work or on materials and labour in respect of this contract shall be payable by the contractor and MIL will
not entertain any claim whatsoever in this respect.
8 If at any stage, any information / documents submitted by the applicant is found to be false, the agency shall be
liable for debarment from tendering in MIL, apart from any other appropriate / legal action.
9 MIL reserves the right to disallow issue of tender document to working agencies whose performance at on going
work(s) / project(s) is below par or unusually poor.
10 MIL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons.
