EMD would be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers within 15 days of finalization<br />

of the tender. In the case of successful tenderer, the EMD would be refunded only<br />

after completion of all the formalities i.e. signing of contract, submission of requisite<br />

Bank Guarantee, placement of owned vehicles within stipulated time etc.<br />

No interest shall be payable on EMD.<br />

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE TENDERER :<br />

1. The estimated sales volume of business is approx 1690 MT per annum. The above<br />

volume includes approx. 130 MTs per annum of Stock Transfer Quantities i.e Stock<br />

Transfer from <strong>Navalur</strong> Lubes C&F Depot to other company depots). The C&F would<br />

normally cater to the areas of Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Belgaum, Bijapur, Bagalkot,<br />

North Kanara, Gulberga, Bidar, Raichur, Koppal, Bellary, which may be altered in<br />

accordance with the requirements of the Corporation.<br />

2. In case of secondary transportation, the average monthly running (one way) of<br />

4 MT / 6 MT vehicle(s) is expected to be 4000 Kms. Average load size for<br />

deliveries is normally expected to be 4 MT to 6 MT per trip but certain times a<br />

smaller load or Higher load also should be delivered . During the last week of<br />

the month higher load in the range of 5 to 9 MT may be required, which also<br />

should be arranged. Similarly, loads of smaller size also to be delivered as per<br />

the business requirements. However, please note that the volume / area /<br />

running and load size of vehicle mentioned above are only indicative and<br />

<strong>Bharat</strong> <strong>Petroleum</strong> Corporation Limited does not guarantee minimum or<br />

maximum volume of business, area of operation / load size or running of<br />

vehicles. The tenderer should own minimum 3 nos. of Vehicle, one of 2 MT<br />

LCV, 4 MT LCV and the other of 6 MT Vehicle or should be able to buy the<br />

same within 15 days of date of letter of intent.<br />

3. PARCEL BOOKINGS : “Whenever company requires certain urgent small size<br />

load to be delivered thru‟ parcel bookings, the same should be undertaken<br />

immediately. The transportation charges up to parcel booking office would be<br />

paid as per LFDZ rate( up to 40 Kms) in Rs/MT. The actual parcel booking<br />

expenses can be claimed as a reimbursement from the company on a monthly<br />

basis on production of original booking receipts and way bill”.<br />
