The test is low depressed posteriorly, higher anteriorly. In longitudinal<br />

profile the apex is a little anterior with the anterior slope abrupt, the posterior<br />

slope depressed in front of the apex and gradually sloping to the ambitus. In<br />

contour the te»t is a very broad oval, only very slightly constricted posteriorly.<br />

The base is flattened, the postero-lateral ambulacral sillons on the ventral surface<br />

are raised on each side of the plastron as in no other species the writer has seen.
