WFF Aircraft Configuration Management/Engineering Support
PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
1. AATS-14 Installation on N426
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the AATS-14
instrument installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the Government. Access to
the aircraft shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule
of deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final acceptance by
the Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
2. SSFR Installation on N426
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the SSFR instrument
installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the Government. Access to the aircraft
shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule of
deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final acceptance by the
Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
3. GIFS Installation on N426
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the GIFS instrument
installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the Government. Access to the aircraft
shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule of
deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final acceptance by the
Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
4. BBR Installation
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the BBR instrument
installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the Government. Access to the aircraft
shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule of
deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final acceptance by the
Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
5. HIGEAR Installation
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the HIGEAR
instrument installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the Government. Access to
the aircraft shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule
of deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final acceptance by
the Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
6. REVEAL Installation
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the REVEAL
instrument installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the Government. Access to
the aircraft shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule
of deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final acceptance by
the Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.

7. Cargo Baggage Bin
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the Cargo Baggage
Bin installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the Government. Access to the
aircraft shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule of
deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final acceptance by the
Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
8. Additional Requirements for ARCTAS Mission
1. Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the
AATS Rainhat installation onboard N426. Installation will be by the
Government. Access to the aircraft shall be under Government escort
only. Specific requirements and schedule of deliverables are enclosed in
this task order item document file. Final acceptance by the Government
shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
2. Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the
Radiometer blank-off plates onboard N426. Installation will be by the
Government. Access to the aircraft shall be under Government escort
only. Specific requirements and schedule of deliverables are enclosed in
this task order item document file. Final acceptance by the Government
shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight release.
3. Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the
changes directed by the PI for the HIGEAR nozzle and probe angle of
attack. Installation will be by the Government. Access to the aircraft shall
be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and schedule of
deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final
acceptance by the Government shall be upon issuance of the mission
safety of flight release.
9. Twin Otter Rack Installation
Perform all design, drafting, analysis and fabrication in support of the Twin Otter rack
installation on board N426. Installation will be by NASA P-3 maintenance personnel.
Access to the aircraft shall be under Government escort only. Specific requirements and
schedule of deliverables are enclosed in this task order item document file. Final
acceptance by the Government shall be upon issuance of the mission safety of flight
release. Government request a detailed milestone schedule of how vendor proposes to
complete on or before required due date.
