GUIDE FEE STRUCTURE OF STATE GUIDES
(W.E.F. 8-4-2010)
State Guides fee w.e.f. 8th April 2010 will be as under:-

(b)
Above overnight rates include expenses to be incurred for hotel
accommodation and meals. However, when a travel agent/tour
poerator/excursion agent provides hotel accommodation and meals in the
same hotel where the clients are staying and bears such expenses, the
outstation allowance will only be Rs.550 per night.

All other allowance like lunch, overtime, transport, etc. will not be payable
and will be covered in the above fees.
The following excursion would be paid as full day:-
(i) Excursion to Fatehpur Sikri
For excursion tours(Vice-a-versa),which exceed 8 hours, an extra allowance
of Rs. 350/- would be paid in addition to all the above fee and allowances.
Wherever language or outstation or overnight allowance are applicable, the
same will be over and above the guide fee that would be applicable
Suitable imprest amount may be given to the guides before the
commencement of their assignment with the mutual understanding
Usage of Guides shall be as per the laid down policies of the Department of
Tourism., Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Guides requested to work as escort cum guide could negotiate the fees with
the respective agents for the additional work of escorting.
(k) Special allowance of Rs. 150 for Evening Aarti on Ghats in Banaras .
