note: In December 1968, the Executive Council authorized the Treasurer to
withdraw a total of up to $1 million from 5 specific trust funds (Nos. 46, 64,
107, 700 and 745) to be set up in a separate account for investing in
enterprises to assist minority groups.] Since November 1989 this fund has
been part of what is now called the Economic Justice Loan Fund (see
Treasurer's Report), which consists of unrestricted DFMS endowment funds
set aside by Executive Council for the purposes of socially-responsible
investment, in response to Resolution C-030a of the 1988 General Convention.
