The <str<strong>on</strong>g>Guidance</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong> informati<strong>on</strong> requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment will provide details <strong>on</strong> how<br />
to fulfil the informati<strong>on</strong> requirements <strong>on</strong> intrinsic properties of substances, including how to obtain and<br />
evaluate available informati<strong>on</strong> from sources including publicly available <strong>data</strong>bases (also by read-across and<br />
other n<strong>on</strong>-testing methods, in vitro test methods and human <strong>data</strong>) and special factors affecting informati<strong>on</strong><br />
requirements and testing strategies. Furthermore, Part F of the latter document provides detailed methodological<br />
guidance <strong>on</strong> how to complete a Chemical Safety Report (CSR).<br />
The duties of downstream users are covered in the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Guidance</str<strong>on</strong>g> for Downstream Users.<br />

NB: Other and more technical documents have been issued to support the potential registrants to fulfil<br />

disputes, etc.), REACH-IT Industry User Manuals and Data Submissi<strong>on</strong> Manuals. All these documents<br />
should be read in combinati<strong>on</strong> with this <str<strong>on</strong>g>Guidance</str<strong>on</strong>g> document and are available at http://www.echa.eu/web/<br />

1.5 Link to the CLP Regulati<strong>on</strong> and related guidance<br />
The CLP Regulati<strong>on</strong> (EC) No 1272/2008 does not c<strong>on</strong>tain any provisi<strong>on</strong>s <strong>on</strong> <strong>data</strong> <strong>sharing</strong>. Nevertheless,<br />
manufacturers, importers and downstream users who are not subject to registrati<strong>on</strong> under REACH can<br />
c<strong>on</strong>tribute as <strong>data</strong> holders to the SIEF process. This is further explained in the Introductory <str<strong>on</strong>g>Guidance</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong> the<br />
