5-2.
The 2006 Southern Conference Tournament
Champions. Charleston beat The Citadel, 5-4,
in the title game.
The Cougars won the 2006 Lexington Regional with
wins over Notre Dame and Ball State. Charleston
downed SEC regular-season champ Kentucky, 7-4, in the
championship game.
The Cougars celebrate their victory over Kentucky
and the regional championship, earning
a spot in the NCAA Super Regionals.
