XVS650A V-Star Classic in Raven
1 Forty cubic-inches of air-cooled, V-twin cranking out
smooth low- and mid-range torque, a 650 V-Star packs
a whole lot of Yamaha cruising attitude into a compact
package.
2 Mounted atop the beautiful teardrop tank, this
chromed speedometer designed with a large face
for easy reading of tripmeter/odometer displays, as
well as turn signal, neutral, high beam, and engine
diagnostic indicator lights.
3 (Classic XVS650A) Classic, deeply valanced steel
front and rear fenders complement the striking chrome
fork covers, thickly padded seat cushion and polished
headlight surround for a look that’s pure class.
4 (Custom XVS650) Tight, figure-hugging lines with
more compact mudguards and cushions and a set of
spoked wheels give the 650 Custom a raw, stripped
down appearance. There’s an extra edge to its
character that forms a perfect platform for an upgrade
project.
5 Low-maintenance shaft drive provides quiet,
hassle-free performance. Right-side two-into-two
chrome exhaust pipes contribute to the sleek styling
and sweet aural persona of a V-Star 650.
Beautifully chromed and polished 40 cubic-inch
(649cc) air-cooled, SOHC 70 degree V-twin cranks out
torquey low- and mid-range power with minimal engine
rpm - maximum torque is reached at only 3000 rpm -
for powerful, smooth cruising performance.
695mm seat height lets a wide range of riders get
both feet on the pavement.
Wide-ratio five-speed transmission ensures
extremely usable, cruiser-friendly power delivery.
Two-into-two chrome exhaust pipes create sleek
styling and deliver maximum low- and mid-range
engine output.
Long, 1610mm wheelbase adds to rider comfort
and stable, predictable handling and creates a long
and low retro look.
41mm aluminium telescopic front fork with 139mm
of travel ensures a smooth ride with stylishly sporty
durability.
Rigid-look frame in fact offers a great ride via a
hidden rear shock with 86mm of travel.
Single front disc and rear drum brakes deliver
strong, confidence-inspiring stopping power.
