The CIDEON Naming catalog makes it
possible to automatically name your
Document Info Record (DIR) based
on suggested values. Additionally
this Add On allows the variable naming
of the Document Info Record to be
recorded in the naming catalog master
data.
The user can authorize new values
directly from the naming catalog into
the naming catalog master data –
depending on their rights.
The ability to work with pre-defined
templates and to make the
characteristics (for example length or
diameter) available to the user in the
form of placeholders rather than in
absolute form, provides you with
significantly more user friendliness
and effeciency for your processes.
Aligning this Add On to interact with
other CIDEON products
enables you to optimize the usage of
these solutions as well.
Because the CIDEON Naming Catalog
is a standardized CIDEON Add ON it is
subject to software maintenance. The
continuous maintenance of the product
guarantees your investment.

The Naming catalog provides two types of maintenance: First names can be maintained
directly in SAP, for example via transactions. Second it is possible to export naming
catalog entries from the file folder in the form of MS Excel Sheets to SAP or to export
SAP data entires to the file folder.
