PART-II : ADMINISTRATIVE NOTES :
1) This is a full time regular course from 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., including Saturdays &
Sundays, if required. (It is not a part time or correspondence course).
2) The interview is scheduled to be held on 11 th July, 2012 from 1000 hrs. onwards.
The candidates must report to the Safety Division of the Central Labour Institute on
11.07.2012 at 1000 hrs. alongwith all the original documents for interview.
3) Candidates must attend interview only after attending deficiencies, if any, indicated
in the remarks column.
4) The candidates marked with (*) are required to submit the hard copies of the
documents (no fax / e-mail will be accepted) immediately, but not later than 6 th July,
2012. If considered further, they will be informed through e-mail ID given in the
applications to attend the interview on 11.07.2012.
5) The candidates called for interview, but having deficiencies as mentioned in the
remarks column, shall also submit the hard copies (no fax / e-mail will be accepted)
of the required documents positively on or before 09 th July, 2012. This will enable us
to give final confirmation through their e-mail ID given in the application to attend
the interview on 11.07.2012.
6) The scrutiny of the application revealed that the information / certificates /
documents submitted by the candidates were having many deficiencies and appears
to be not genuine / forged in few cases. The applicants are advised in general that
submission of information, documents / certificates which are not genuine / forged
will attract penal action, including debarring, by the competent authority as well as
by the Maharashtra State Govt. during any stage of Diploma course, if found guilty.
Hence, the candidates are cautioned to be careful and make sure that only genuine
certificates / information / documents are enclosed alongwith the application and
produced during the interview. The candidates are also instructed to appear before
an interview committee with such documents only. They must ensure themselves
that they have submitted documents as per the application and prospectus only and
documents / experience certificates are obtained only from relevant agencies etc.
7) Candidates covered under Sl. Nos.5 & 6 above will be allowed to attend the
interview only if they are permitted by e-mail by this Institute.
Applicants who are not able to remove the deficiencies as per prospectus /
application form including Sl.No.9(a) of the application should not report for
interview.
8) The short-listed candidates are advised to bring alongwith them the following
certificates / documents in original and one set of attested copies, failing which they
will not be allowed to appear in the interview :

a) SSC & HSE mark-sheets and certificates.
b) BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc./ Diploma in Engg. mark-sheets of all years / semesters.
c) Final Degree / Diploma certificates. Those who are having only Provisional certificates
need not come to attend the interview. (Candidates not having original degree /
diploma certificates must obtain the same from their Universities / Institutes before
appearing for the interview.)
d) All experience certificates must clearly mention nature of duties in supervisory capacity
as per Sl. No.9(a) of the application.
e) Sponsoring certificate in the company letterhead, if applicable.
f) Valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority for SC/ST/OBC/VJ/NT, etc.
g) In case of a non-sponsored candidate, a “No Objection Certificate / Permission letter /
Resignation acceptance letter” from the employer for joining the course.
9) Candidates have to make their own arrangements for stay at Mumbai, if required, to
attend the interview for which no TA/DA will be paid. Calling for interview does not
guarantee selection for admission to the course. Result of the interview / list of
selected candidates will be displayed only in our website / notice board. No
separate letter will be sent to the candidates. Decision of the Selection Committee
will be final and no correspondence or any enquiry in this regard will be entertained.
10) The candidates having degree / diploma from other than Maharashtra State will
have to submit the ‘Eligibility Certificate’ from the Maharashtra State Board of
Technical Education, before joining the course.
11) The candidates are advised to visit our web site at regular interval for updates and
others.
12) The course is likely to commence from 23-7-2012.
13) The fee stands revised as follows :
Institute fee Rs.7,250/- (instead of Rs.6,600/-)
Caution money deposit Rs.1,200/- (instead of Rs.1,100/-)
Hostel rent @ Rs.30/- per day (instead of Rs.25/-) if allotted.
14) All expenses during the course shall be borne by the candidates / sponsoring
authority as the case may be.
