SNAG is a modified form of golf with its
own simple rules and terminology, which
adds to the fun.
SNAG is an easy and quick way for
youngsters to learn the fundamentals of the
swing and develop an interest in golf without
being burdened with too much technical
detail.

Michael Allan says, “We’ll be running several
week-long junior camps this summer during
which boys and girls, from 5-years upwards,
will be given an introduction to etiquette, the
rules of golf and the fundamentals of the
swing. They’ll also have the opportunity to
actually play golf on the new 9-hole SNAG
course and dedicated pitch and putt practice
area for juniors.”
Kids will have the opportunity to immerse
themselves in golf at the centre’s junior
camps and they’ll enjoy the fun element
associated with SNAG.
Allan explains, “This excellent new concept
helps kids make more athletic movements
that benefit their swings. This is achieved
through various exercises and games which
develop athletic movement patterns.”
It’s essentially a game created with kids in
mind but SNAG can be enjoyed by all the
family, which ensures that it will catch-on fast
at the Leopardstown Golf Centre.
