GRADUATION PROJECT - ATTENTION SENIORS: Your oral presentation for the Graduation Project is due by
January 8 th . SENIORS WHO HAVE NOT PRESENTED BY THE END OF THE FIRST SEMESTER WILL HAVE ALL
STUDENT PRIVILEGES REVOKED. These privileges include, but are not limited to:
Permanent Passes for study halls
Field Trips
Driving Privileges
Attending or participating in sporting events
Practices for sports
Attending or participating in the Musical
Practices for the Musical
All Theatre Club activities
All Club activities
Work Study
Dances
All school related activities
Please make arrangements with your monitor to present as soon as possible.
LOST & FOUND – The Lost & Found bin will be cleaned out Wednesday. All unclaimed items will be donated to a
shelter.
COLLEGE VISIT – The following colleges will be visiting Norwin. Interested seniors must sign up by Noon the day
BEFORE the visit. Students are to sign up themselves only. Students are NOT permitted to sign up a friend.

JOB SHADOW – Juniors are reminded that completed job shadow applications are due tomorrow.
KNIGHT’S KORNER - In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the school store is giving thanks to its customers by lowering the price
of our extra delicious and extra large Rice Krispie treats. This deal is only available for a limited time, so come to the
school store today.
POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL - The 14 th annual powder puff football game is next Tuesday, November 20 th at Norwin
Stadium. The freshmen will take on the sophomores at 6pm and the juniors will face the seniors at 7:30 pm. Admission is
$5 and a canned food item. All proceeds benefit the Make A Wish Foundation and all canned goods will be donated to the
local food bank. If you want to see some great football for a great cause or if you didn't get Justin Bieber tickets, join us for
a Norwin tradition - the 14 th annual powder puff football game.
CLUB NEWS

ART CLUB - A reminder that all Art Club fundraiser money is due tomorrow, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Checks should be
made payable to "Norwin Activity Fund."
Art Club members working on the "Made by Milk" contest can stay after school until 5:00 to work in Room 117.
Tomorrow’s meeting will last until 3:30. Only Art Club officers and those working on the "Made by Milk" contest should
attend.
FCCLA / INTERACT - FCCLA and Interact are collecting items to fill shoes boxes for soldiers. These items will be sent to
US soldiers to help fulfill physical and emotional needs while away from home.
How to participate:
• Choose items from the list on the signs posted on bulletin boards and in homeroom.
• Or write a “Thank You”
• Bring your donations to Room 141 or 208 during homeroom.
• All items need to be delivered to Room 141 or 208 by homeroom tomorrow.
FCCLA Affiliate Reminder: State Conference commitment forms are due today. Also there will be a STAR Event
Planning meeting at 2:20 today in Room 141 for all affiliated members attending the State Conference. This is a
mandatory meeting.
INTERACT - Tuesday is the last day to sign up for Presents for Patients in Room 208.
KNIGHTS OF FAITH - Knights of Faith will meet after school today in Room 248. The message will be on giving thanks.
STUDENT COUNCIL - The monthly meeting will be held after school today in the Right Audion. Candy Cane Castle
assignments and tickets will be distributed. Please plan to attend.
ATHLETICS NEWS
BOYS’ BASKETBALL – Tryouts begin tomorrow from 2:40-5:00. We will practice Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 and
Monday 5:00 p.m. to 7:15. All players must have completed physicals.
SWIM TEAM – There will be a mandatory meeting today at 2:30 in Room 139 for anyone interested in trying out for the
swim team.
TABLE TENNIS - The Table Tennis Club will meet in the small gym today from 2:20 until 3:30. Any student interested in
joining the Table Tennis Club is welcome to attend. If you have questions or want additional information, please see Mrs.
Ferragonio.
