IV. Long-Term Recruitment Measures
In addition to maintaining the Station’s local recruitment sources contact list (see
Attachment A), the Station participates in the following long-term recruitment measures.
A. Job Fairs
Station personnel with hiring responsibilities attended the following job fairs during the
reporting period:
Seattle Pacific University Career Mixer – November 11, 2012; 3:00PM-5:00PM. Alex
DeDonker (Promotions Manager) attended and collected 20 resumes. Three (3) people were
interviewed from this event and hired for part-time positions.
Diversity Employment Day Career Fair – January 25, 2013; 11:00AM-3:00PM; Sea-Tac
Conference Center. Diana Moses (Station Manager) and Alex DeDonker (Promotions Manager)
attended the event. Ten (10) resumes were collected. There were no follow up interviews from
this event. Twenty-four (24) radio ads were aired between January 16, 2013 and January 20,
2013, to promote this fair.
Seattle Pacific University Job and Internship Fair – April 11, 2013; 3:00PM-6:00PM. Alex
DeDonker (Promotions Manager) attended this event. Twenty (20) resumes were collected.
Two (2) people were interviewed from this event and hired for part-time positions.
Diversity Employment Day Career Fair – July 9, 2013; 11:00AM-3:00PM; ShoWare Center in
Kent, WA. Diana Moses (Station Manager) and Alex DeDonker (Promotions Manager) attended
this event. Eighteen (18) resumes were collected. Two (2) people were interviewed for full-time
positions but none were hired. Twenty-four (24) radio ads were aired between July 3, 2013 and
July 8, 2013 to promote this fair.
