JUNIOR<br />

History major with concentration in Inclusive Education. . . son of Tom and Mary Kay<br />

Barrett, WILLIAMSVILLE, NY. . . returning for his third season, Barrett appeared in<br />

15 games in 2006-07 and scored 31 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. . . went 4 for<br />

8 from three-point range and 7 for 9 from the foul line. . . scored a career-best eight<br />

points (with two three-pointers) in a win over Keuka 1/13/07. . . 2005-06: appeared<br />

in three games and scored five points against Elmira 2/4/06. . . SCHOLASTIC: a<br />

graduate of Williamsville South High School, Barrett played three seasons of varsity<br />

basketball as a guard for coach Al Monaco. . . named team captain and team MVP his<br />

junior and senior seasons and finished his career as the fifth all-time leading scorer<br />

at Williamsville South. . . garnered first team all-ECIC III honors following his junior and senior seasons and<br />

was named to the <strong>Basketball</strong> Coaches Association of New York Academic all-state team. . . earned all-Western<br />

New York honorable mention accolades. . . also competed on the volleyball team, and was a first team allstar<br />

in addition to team captain. . . was the recipient of Williamsville’s Outstanding Senior Athlete Award and<br />

earned the United States Naval Award for Academic Achievement in addition to the U.S. Army Reserve National<br />

Scholar/Athlete Award. . . member of National Honor Society.<br />

from the field. . . reached double figures in points 10 times, including a season-high<br />

14 points at Hartwick 2/10/07. . . had a career-high 10 rebounds vs. Pitt-Bradford<br />

12/19/06. . . 2005-06: played in 22 games and averaged 5.5 points and 3.1 rebounds<br />

per game. . . displayed a soft touch around the basket by shooting 47-for-92 (51.1%)<br />

from the field. . . scored in double figures five times and posted a career-high 18<br />

points to go with nine rebounds in an upset win at St. John Fisher 1/21/06. . . named<br />

Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Week for 1/23/06. . . SCHOLASTIC: a graduate<br />

of Scotia-Glenville High School, DeHimer played three seasons of varsity basketball as a center for coach Jim<br />

Giammattei. . . named first-team all-Foothills Council and second team all-Capital District. . . team won the<br />

Foothills Council Championships in 2003-04 and 2004-05. . . also competed in volleyball and earned first team<br />

all-Capital District honors. . . received the all-Foothills Senior Leadership Award.<br />
