in the heart of the Palm Springs Uptown Design District, will host a benefit for Friends of the<br />
Palm Springs Animal Shelter on Friday, July 6 from 6 to 8 pm at 830 North Palm Canyon<br />
Drive. The event will also showcase a handful of new pop-up stores, including Pelago, Miriade<br />
SRL, and Pawz Palm Springs.<br />

New pop-up stores include Pelago Gifts, which will offer a select assortment of personal and<br />
distinctive gifts, Miriade SRL, an Italian manufacturer of belts, accessories, and ladies<br />
handbags, and Pawz Palm Springs, which offers high quality luxury pet products and apparel<br />
collections and provides financial assistance in the humane treatment of local animals.<br />
Raymond | Lawrence includes ‘pop-upÕ stores for a variety of retail businesses, some of which<br />
are already established enterprises in other cities, and some that are new concepts. ASI (Art -<br />
Style - Innovation), sOUP Home, Crate, Alpha: Gear for Gents, Made 2 Measure Fashion, Paul<br />
Kaplan Real Estate, Fit to Print, K. Berwick, Pavilion, Kateyln Grace, LASC, and a new concept<br />

partnered to host a FREE to the community<br />
red carpet screening of the new television<br />
family-friendly film “Christmas in Palm<br />
Springs”, featured several of the film’s stars<br />
walking the red carpet, including starship<br />
troopers Patrick Muldoon and Dina Meyer<br />
along with “Sharknado’s” Ian Ziering.<br />
The movie, about an East Coast family who<br />
visits Palm Springs during the holidays,<br />
was filmed last <strong>December</strong> during the Palm<br />
Springs Festival of Lights Parade and is a part<br />
of the City’s hugely successful Film Friendly<br />
Incentive Program. The producers, also<br />
filmed another production in Palm Springs<br />
called “Hidden Away” and received $5,000<br />
grants for both films, according to Mary Jo<br />
Ginther, Director of the Palm Springs Bureau<br />
