Thomas Smith, a resident of Palm Springs and Greater Palm Springs Pride<br />

<strong>2014</strong> Community Grand Marshal , has been selected as Award-Winning<br />

Finalist in the Business: Motivational category of the <strong>2014</strong> USA Best Book<br />

Awards! USA Book News, based in Los Angeles, announced the results of<br />

THE <strong>2014</strong> USA BEST BOOK AWARDS on November 12, <strong>2014</strong>.<br />

An Award-winning author, speaker and trainer, Thomas Smith’s dedication,<br />

leadership and commitment are shown in his thirty years of active<br />

community engagement. He has been recognized with national and state<br />

awards; he has leadership experience in civic, social, and community<br />

organizations and local, state, and federal government. He is a multiple<br />

Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and Benefactor. He has a strong<br />

interest in family genealogy and is a member of the Society of Colonial<br />
