FURNITURE DESIGN
Drawing on the form of a
largely forgotten typology -
the Porter’s chair, my design
simplifies the proportions,
maintaining a sense of enclosure
and isolation for the inhabitant.
Orinigally designed
for French royal guards, the
simplified form gives way to
a revised, more relevant program
that can be aggregated
and implemented both in the
home and in public spaces.
