Our focus for Lent 2011 is prayer as practice of faith. What is prayer

participate in prayer experiences.

Each time will include 30 minutes for worship and 30 minutes for
learning. The learning time will feature four options: Psalms Bible Study,
Prayer Stations, Weekly Topic Discussion, and Crafts to Practice Prayer.
Pipe Organ Update
Big things are just around the corner!
Construction begins in the Sanctuary early
March and will be completed in late April.
There will also be an auction fundraiser Saturday, May 14
(more details to come). We are looking for auction item
donations and volunteers to help plan the event. If interested,

Friday Mornings Out (FMO)
Now Accepting Registrations
FMO provides parents with a peaceful time away from their
children. Each week children are involved in age appropriate
activities such as music, crafts, story time, gym time and more.
Tuition is $423 per year, or 9 monthly payments of $47.
Registrations are accepted at the Welcome Center, in the
Children, Youth and Family (CYF) Office and online.

Items being collected in the narthex during
March: clothes hangers, Ziploc bags (quart, gallon
and larger), Rubbermaid totes with covers (18 gal,
20 qt, 6 qt, under-bed), waist aprons, large safety
pins, staplers/staples, Sharpies, scissors, yellow
highlighters, dry erase markers, tape (masking,
painters & packaging).
Garage sale proceeds go to the Children In Need
Ministry. Donating supplies helps more money get
to the kids that need it.

Statewide Fight Against Hunger!
The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign raises more
than half the food distributed annually across the state.
Hunger in Minnesota has doubled over the past five years
and now affects one in eight children.
Your March donations to the Food Shelf will go toward the
statewide goal to raise 12 million combined pounds and
dollars. For each dollar contributed, food shelves can
purchase $4 worth of food.
Monetary donations can be made at the Welcome Center,
online or through Simply Giving. Thank you and please
