The GIE Alternative
Consider General Insurance Essentials (GIE) as a way to kick start your insurance knowledge. General Insurance Essentials is
recommended for newcomers to the industry who have not yet made a definite career commitment. It is also for those employed
in insurer, agency broker, broker, or adjuster offices in clerical or other positions who want an overview of the insurance industry.
Successful graduates of the GIE Program will be awarded a certificate. Classes will be held at the IIO, 18 King St. E., 16th Floor.
