Eliminate compaction while
covering more
acres than traditional primary
tillage tools.
2433
When compaction is present, the best time for dealing with it is in the fall during your post harvest
tillage operation. Breaking up the hardpan and roughing up the surface will improve water and nutrient
infiltration over the winter. The Model 2433 Chisel from Sunflower will help you eliminate your
compaction problem while allowing you to cover a large number of acres. With shanks spaced on 12”
centers, the 2433 provides good soil mixing and residue flow* while shattering the compaction up to
10” deep.
*Note: Prior residue sizing may be needed
Shanks Available:
• Rigid Shear-Bolt
• Spring Cushion Shanks
Walking Tandems are available
on all sections, allowing the
machine to follow the ground
contour precisely, maintaining a
more consistent shank depth.
in very high residue levels.
* Horsepower requirements for Chisels will vary greatly with the type of soil, moisture conditions, shape of sweeps and points, amount of
surface trash, depth of tillage, speed, and many other related factors. To be able to pull the Chisel at maximum depth, a minimum of 10-12
horsepower per shank may be required.
