RACS’ STRATEGIC GOALS
RACS’ strategic goals to protect the human rights of asylum seekers
and refugees are to provide quality legal advice, case management and
representation for financially disadvantaged and vulnerable people seeking
asylum and family reunion. RACS aims to:

Provide community education on changes to refugee law;

Provide outreach services to asylum seekers, as well as refugee
partner organisations;
»»
Advocate for systemic reform; and
»»
Maintain an effective and expert staff team.
Despite the massive funding cuts, through careful planning over the past
year, RACS has achieved these strategic goals, not only managing to retain
all of our staff but increasing the number of services we have provided.
