Kemppi standardises its MIG
welding gun range
Quality and safety combined with essential
usability and good ergonomics are
the core ideas behind Kemppi welding guns.
The range offers both gas and liquid-cooled
models in various power ranges, offering the
right tool for demanding professionals to
quality-conscious hobby users.
The standardisation and harmonisation of the
welding gun series are part of a natural development.
Kemppi aims to provide the customer
with ‘the right product at the right place at the
right time’ including availability of consumables.
This is taken into consideration at the
design stage and is reflected in MMT series design,
where consumables are largely the same
as those for the PMT series.
The MMT and PMT series have received world
wide support with positive support from a variety

Kemppi
maintenance
services
reorganised
Responsibility for Kemppi’s maintenance
services in Finland has been
transferred from Kemppikoneet Oy to
Kemppi Oy. Kemppi Oy’s Service team is
responsible for domestic service operations
and their development.
The reorganisation allows us to more effectively
provide technical service support
to all Kemppi Group customers in
co-operation with authorised service centres.
We can also more comprehensively
meet the needs of different regions, while
ensuring greater service personnel availability.
When our customers have technical
questions, they will have the entire
Kemppi Oy service team at their disposal.
Kemppi Oy’s service team is comprised of
the After Sales Service Manager and three
service consultants. The team is responsible
for service-related training, consulting
and the investigation of practical problems.

Outstanding ergonomics also improves
performance
The MMT gun series is primarily designed for
use with basic MIG/MAG machines, including
Kemppi’s own, Kempomat, Kempoweld,
Kempact and the new FastMig BASIC machines.
The MMT series includes strong design features
including on certain models, fully rotating gun
necks, where the working ergonomics – particularly
in positional welding – are exceptionally
good.
In the PMT series further emphasis is placed on
both ergonomics and gun performance. Flexible
knuckle joints behind the gun handle reduce
the amount of physical strain placed on
the welder’s wrist and the light weight of the
product further improves this performance.
The gas-cooled models gun neck rotates a full
360°, which facilitates working in various welding
positions. Kemppi RMT remote control can
be used to conveniently control welding power
with the Kemppi WeldForce or Kemppi Pro
Evolution welding machines, directly from the
PMT gun – everything is pre wire to accept later
up-grade if required.
