VISITATION, ELMHURST, IL JUNE 10, 2012
Dear Parish Friends,
Today at the noon Mass with Bishop Conlon the Choir will be singing several classic choral works of our Catholic faith in
Latin. The first is Ave Verum Corpus (Hail True Body) by Mozart. This piece was written especially for the Feast of Corpus
Christi in 1791. Then at offertory we will sing the Panis Angelicus (Bread of Angels) of Cesar Franck with Dylan Rehm, tenor
soloist and the Ave Maria (Hail Mary) of Franz Schubert with Jackie Salgado, soloist. The translations of these master works
are below.
Ave verum corpus (Hail True Body)
Hail, true Body,
born of the Virgin Mary,
who having truly suffered,
was sacrificed on the cross for mankind,
whose pierced side
flowed with water and blood:
May it be for us a foretaste
[of the Heavenly banquet]

Panis Angelicus (Bread of Angels)
Bread of Angels,
made the bread of men;
The Bread of heaven
puts an end to all symbols:

The Classified Section
Many of our parishioners are affected by unemployment. Visitation’s “Classified Section” is a response to aid in networking
within the parish community. This section lists people who need jobs by advertising only information pertinent to work.
Those who need work may contact Deacon Tony at the Rectory and send him their resumes. We will keep them confidential
and publicize the skill sets anonymously. Our hope is that potential employers or friends of potential employers within this
parish may be able to help. If an employer contacts the parish office, Deacon Tony will act as the liaison for them. A more
extensive list and more information and resources are now available via our website.
Vis 102 I am seeking a Marketing and Sales position in the Industrial products or services industries. I have created
marketing and sales departments for new territories and companies in the Chicago area. I am an outstanding
developer of leads and have initiated trade shows locally and out of town that generated over $2 million in
annual new business and earned many referrals. In my last position as Sales Manager (a subsidiary of the
Inland Real Estate Corporation) I closed over $20 million for a new sales position in outside business and
won approvals of over 150 national accounts.
