timely passing of Vice President Timothy<br />
F. Magee on July 6, 2012 at his<br />
home in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan.<br />
It was noted that Vice President Magee<br />
had served as an officer of Detroit Stage<br />
<strong>Local</strong> 38 for a number of years as well<br />
as former Michigan Studio Mechanics<br />
<strong>Local</strong> 812. He was unanimously elected<br />
to serve on the <strong>IA</strong><strong>TSE</strong> General Executive<br />
Board in 1995 and also served as<br />
an International Representative. Vice<br />
President Magee was a man of great integrity<br />
and his untiring efforts and dedication<br />
to properly represent each and<br />
every member of this Alliance is greatly<br />
appreciated. He will be sorely missed<br />
and the Board extended its deepest<br />
condolences to his family.<br />
As a demonstration of the General<br />
Executive Board’s deep appreciation,<br />
the Board unanimously passed the<br />
following resolution in tribute to Vice<br />
President Magee:<br />
RESOLUTION<br />
WHEREAS, the General Executive<br />
Board of the <strong>IA</strong><strong>TSE</strong>, in meeting duly<br />
convened on Wednesday, July 11,<br />
2012 in Detroit, Michigan, recognizes<br />
the outstanding service of Vice President<br />
Timothy F. Magee in carrying out<br />
his duties as a member of the Board<br />
since 1995 when he was unanimously<br />
elected to serve as International Vice<br />
President, as well as in his duties as a<br />
full-time International Representative<br />
and a member of the <strong>IA</strong><strong>TSE</strong>’s Defense<br />
Fund Committee and the <strong>IA</strong><strong>TSE</strong>’s Political<br />
Action Committee, and<br />
WHEREAS, the General Executive<br />
Board also recognizes Vice President<br />
Magee’s untiring efforts and dedication<br />
to the entire membership of this Alliance,<br />
as well as his service as an officer<br />
of Detroit Stage <strong>Local</strong> No. 38 and Michigan<br />
Studio Mechanics <strong>Local</strong> No. 812,<br />
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED<br />
that in an expression of deep appreciation<br />
to Vice President Magee, this<br />
General Executive Board proudly announces<br />
in this Resolution that the<br />
conference room at the <strong>IA</strong><strong>TSE</strong> General<br />
Office in New York City is hereby<br />
dedicated to Vice President Magee<br />
and as such will be known as “The<br />
Timothy F. Magee Board Room”.<br />

The Board was informed that<br />
Vice President Magee is survived by<br />
his wife Therese and three children,<br />
Charles, Molly and Mary Devin. A<br />
Fund has been established to assist<br />
the children of with educational expenses<br />
they will incur pursuing their<br />
college education.<br />
The General Executive Board<br />
unanimously approved a donation<br />
from the International be made to the<br />
Fund.<br />

It was noted that at its off-year<br />
convention held in Charlotte, North<br />

Having completed all business<br />
properly brought before it, and after<br />
motion duly made and carried, the<br />
General Executive Board meeting was<br />
adjourned at 9:45 a.m.<br />
