SUPPORTED SCHEMA AND DIT<br />

408. The Griffin DS will be based on the core Common Content schema from <strong>ACP</strong><br />

133(C). Until this is available, a working subset has been defined in Chapter 6, Annex A,<br />

which supports the following entry types:<br />

a. Country (only allowed for High-Level DIT).<br />

b. Organization (only allowed for High-Level DIT).<br />

c. Locality.<br />

d. Organizational Unit.<br />

e. Organizational Person.<br />

f. Organizational Role.<br />

g. Address List.<br />

409. Griffin contact and addressing information will be mainly populated based on units,<br />

persons and roles. The following is a list of some of the more useful attributes:<br />

a. Entry name (e.g. common name) of Unit 3 , Person or Role entry.<br />

b. Personal details (e.g. Surname, Given Name, Title, Rank etc as appropriate).<br />

c. Pointers between role and person entry (where appropriate).<br />

d. Phone numbers (e.g. Phone, Fax, Mobile IP etc). These should be provided in<br />

international format (e.g. +1 7031234567 with no spaces other than between the<br />

National Dialling Code and the number).<br />

e. X.400 MM address.<br />

f. Plain Language Address (PLA) for legacy message conversion.<br />

g. SMTP email address which is multi-valued and should contain values for each<br />

“eyes” information domain through which the entry can be addressed.<br />
