7.3 Any error in description, quantity or rate in Schedule of Quantities or any omission there
from shall not vitiate the Contract or release the contractor from the execution of the whole or
any part of the works comprised therein according to drawings and specifications or from any
of his obligations under the contract.
8.0 In case of NIT for individual work there will be no split up of work and the entire
quantity will be awarded to the lowest tenderer, if the firm has quoted as per terms and
conditions of the NIT.
Signing of Contract
9. The successful tenderer/contractor, on acceptance of his tender by the Accepting Authority,
shall, within 15 days from the stipulated date of start of the work, sign the contract consisting
of the notice inviting tender, all the documents including drawings, if any, forming the tender
as issued at the time of invitation of tender and acceptance thereof together with any
correspondence leading thereto.
10. The agreement to be signed on non-judicial stamp paper and the cost to be decided as per
the prevailing local bye-laws or zonal head of the circle.
CLAUSE – 1. Performance Guarantee
CLAUSES OF CONTRACT
1.1 i) The contractor is required to furnish performance guarantee for an amount equal to
5% of the contract value in the form of bank guaranty/ CDR/FDR/DD (of a
nationalized / Scheduled Bank in a standard form within two weeks from the date of
