Romans 14:5, One man esteemth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. I. Another issue over which weak and strong brethren disagreed was: A. Shall we esteem each day equally or shall we honor one day above another B. Both groups, those who are vegetarians and those who eat all things as well as those who observe special holy days and those who observe all days alike, are acceptable to God. II. Both are acceptable before God because they honor God, give thanks to God by what they do. A. Both convictions are motivated by a sincere desire to please, serve God. Godet. B. Galatians 4:10, 11, Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain. C. Colossians 2:16, Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: Romans 14:7, For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
