significant events (SSEs) in several
nuclear power plants to identify where
improvements in instrumentation and
control (I&C) and information technology
(IT) could prevent or mitigate some
of these events. This report identifies
potential improvement paths that could
enhance reliability and availability for
implementation consideration by utilities
where appropriate at their own plants.
