In 1979, brothers Gary, James and Mike Scelzi began manufacturing our line of flatbeds
out of our company’s 4,500 square foot facility in Fresno, California. We added truck service
bodies and crane bodies to our line in 1990. Today, Scelzi Enterprises is the Valley’s largest
manufacturer and supplier of truck bodies and parts. Our operation now includes our 150,000
(approx.) square foot facility on about 20 acres in Fresno and our Azusa California facility,
which operates in a 36,000 (approx.) square foot facility on approximately 3.5 acres in
Azusa California.
Scelzi Enterprises creates custom truck bodies for a wide range of customers, from single
vehicles for individuals to entire fleets for some of California’s largest companies and utilities.
Our company’s success is attributed to a fanatical commitment to quality in every detail of
production. To ensure this quality, every step of the manufacturing process happens under
Scelzi’s roof – starting with raw sheet metal and ending with finished truck bodies fitted and
color-matched perfectly to host cab and chassis.
At Scelzi Enterprises, the final product is as attractive as it is solid or it won’t leave the shop.

Scelzi Enterprises carries a full line of service and utility bodies. They can be
ordered with a wide variety of options and accessories. These include: ladder racks,
vise stands and roller tops and super structures. We have applications for SRW from
56” to 60” CA, to DRW from 56” to 108” CA . They can be ordered with compartments
that are 33”, 38” or 43” tall, with vertical or horizontal arrangement and open or
closed tops.
SCELZI COMBO BODY
The Combo Body is a very popular body with mechanics, welders, plumbers and
electricians. It comes with a standard forklift access ladder rack and 36” work
deck with 15” fold down composite side racks. The Combo Body is available for
60” CA SRW and DRW 60” to 108” CA. It can be ordered with 33”, 38” and 43”
tall compartments. Open tops are standard.
SCELZI CONTRACTOR BODY
The Contractor Body comes in a variety of sizes from 7’ x 9’ to 8’ x 14’. The Contractor
comes with hardwood floor or extruded aluminum floor and 15” fold down composite
side racks, standard forklift access ladder rack, standard top mounted tool boxes and
underbody boxes. Also available is a “Super Contractor” with 96” x 13” x 20” shovel boxes.
SCELZI fLATBED
The Scelzi Flatbed comes in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet your
customers needs. We offer the choice of Hardwood, extruded aluminum, smooth steel
or diamond plate floors. We offer sizes from 7’ x 8’ to 8.5’ x 26’. Options include a
dump body, side racks, standard or special ladder racks, trailer hitches and plugs,
lift-gates and toolboxes.
