New Products & Services (Cont’d) • INITIAL NATIONAL RESPONSE PLAN (INRP) - an interim plan designed to help develop a unified approach to domestic incident management across the Nation. • Homeland Security Operations Center (HSOC): to serve as the primary national-level hub for domestic incident management communications and operations; • Interagency Incident Management Group (IIMG): to facilitate national-level situation awareness, policy coordination, and incident coordination; • Principal Federal Official (PFO): to oversee and coordinate Federal incident activities locally during domestic incidents; • Joint Field Office (JFO): to better integrate the Federal response in support of state, and local authorities during domestic incidents . New Products & Services (Cont’d) • Homeland Security Task Force on State, Tribal, County and City Grant Funding: Created to assist and advise DHS on problem areas and viable solutions to allocation of preparedness funding to State, Tribal, County and City governments. • Homeland Security Information Network: Built upon the system known as JRIES, the department is expanding its computer based counter terrorism communications network to all 50 states, 5 territories, Washington D.C. and 50 other major urban areas. This effort will significantly strengthen the two-way flow of real time threat information from the Sensitive-but-Unclassified level to the Secret levels to state, tribal, local and private sector partners.
