functional roles within the samples were also clustered (row dendrogram). Preliminary analysis indicates<br />
that the two deep soil samples exhibit a high degree <strong>of</strong> correlation with each other that is not shared with<br />
the 61 other samples. Data were preprocessed to remove sampling based artifacts.<br />
