Placement exams in the 2013-2014 school year to enable students to enhance their academic portfolio for
admission to university.

SCDSB Seeks Volunteers for Their Accessibility Advisory Committee
The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) is looking for volunteers interested in serving on the
Accessibility Advisory Committee. People with disabilities and members of families of people with disabilities
are strongly encouraged to apply.
Members of the Accessibility Advisory Committee fulfill a variety of activities including:
• advising on the preparation, implementation and effectiveness of the Board’s annual accessibility plan;
• reviewing and advise on accessibility issues relating to identified facilities; and
• advising on other accessibility issues within Simcoe County District School Board schools.
To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of the County of Simcoe and over the age of 18 years. Under the
Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act 2005 the majority of committee members shall include people
with disabilities. A time commitment is expected, and the committee meets five times throughout the year with
meetings generally lasting a few hours.
Interested individuals are invited to apply to be a member of the SCDSB Accessibility Advisory Committee by

Applicants who are shortlisted may be requested to attend a short interview conducted by the Recruitment
