This interdisciplinary meeting was devoted to lasers and lights interacting with nano-dimensional objects for<br />
photonics applications such as photovoltaics, plasmonics, photonic crystals, biomedicine and data storage.<br />
It brought together leading international specialists with the primary aim <strong>of</strong> collectively identifying key<br />
challenges in emerging applications <strong>of</strong> nanophotonics.<br />

The conference will address the health impacts <strong>of</strong> key climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies,<br />
in particular alternate approaches to human mobility, diet, housing and energy generation. Such strategies<br />
will increase physical activity levels and improve nutrition and air quality, whilst reducing greenhouse gas<br />
emissions. The economic implications, including for social equity, will also be discussed.<br />
