The double-bit TRD heads allow both roughing and high precision finish thanks to their rigidity and the<br />
sensitivity of the sliding mechanism which can achieve radial correction of 0.0002".<br />
This can be effected directly on the machine and easily read on the dial.<br />
The main advantage of the TRD head is that it can be pre-regulated independently of the bit holders<br />
found on the slide.<br />
This allows both roughing and high precision finish work at the same time.<br />
